With today's redesign I wanted to incorporate the colors that remind me of winter, blue and gray. This is a very soothing color combination and can be warmed up with hints of natural materials. I've incorporated some dark wood tones and marble to bring this room together and livened it up with some geometric prints.
1. Keys Carpet from Kravet.
2. Kivik sofa from IKEA.
3. Button chair from Target.
4. Marble table lamp from Overstock.com.
5. Handcut wood end table from Etsy seller terrengomez.
6. Accent pillows from here and here.
7. Capiz shell wall decor from CSN.

Monday Redesign: Living Room
Hello Monday and hello February! Where did January go? It flew by, right? I have always loved these pendant lamps and wanted to work them into a Living Room redesign. So here is your Monday's redesign. I hope you enjoy!
Here's a breakdown of the goodies:
1. You may recognize this sofa from Friday's post. I really, really love it. And it's a steal at $949. So clean and sleek. Love it!
2. Aren't these chairs wonderful? A great subtle pattern pairs them perfectly with the sofa, don't you think? Plus gray, white and yellow look so yummy together.
3. I have always loved this rug too-- you may also recognize it from Liz's home. It's a great foundation to this Living Room redesign, and I love the pop of red.
4. And these wonderful pendant lights. Don't they add a great texture and formality to the room?
5. A little bit of yellow and silver on the wall to polish this room with a final touch.

Monday Redesign: Toddler Boy Room
Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. My son is such a delight to hang out with that my head is spinning with fun toddler boy room ideas. {He is 20 months old}. So I'm here today with a toddler boy room redesign.
And now for a breakdown of the goodies:
- The color scheme I choose was blue, gray, yellow and white. It's clean and fun and it seems like a toddler boy could grow with this for quite sometime. {I always try to design for 5-7 year stints as I'm usually ready for a change about then}. It's very hard to keep a children's room timeless as items they are digging at 18 months will likely be different from items they like at age 5. However, many elements in this room are timeless as I tried to keep it that way. The color the the walls is Sherwin Williams Manitou Blue SW6501.
- These window treatments tie the entire color palette together and I love them!
- This bedding comes from Serena & Lily and they have a great soothing feel to them. The bedding itself is timeless as they have solid colors mixed with nice patterns.
- I like pops of color in children's rooms and this chair serves just that purpose. Right at this time, we are dealing with time outs and we need a place other than our son's bed {I don't want him to dislike his "big boy" bed} so this chair is perfect. I'm okay with him hating a $13 chair.
- This rug has a slight pattern and is a perfect foundation for this toddler room. I like it in the 5x7 size, but this would ultimately depend on the size of your room.
- Every toddler room needs a place for toys. This 9 cube organizer shelf is perfect! We actually already have this in my sons room and I love it. I use the cubbies to store clothes and shoes, and the open shelves are perfect for toy and book storage. I suggest covering the shelves with 12x12 paper {Click here to see how it looks- I just used a glue gun and adhered it to the provided backing}. I suggest using gray fabric drawers and yellow paper with a slight pattern to give it depth and texture.
- I found this wall art in Modern Pop's shop on Etsy. I think it compliments this room perfectly and seriously, who doesn't love owls?
What do you think? Is there anything you would add to this boy toddler room?

Monday Redesign-Serene Master Bathroom
I thought I'd mix it up today and put together a serene, relaxing master bathroom for our redesign! I'm keeping things VERY neutral and instead of mixing in colors as accents I'll use texture and finish to make a statement.
1. Spoon Bathtub from Agape. This is a statement piece all of its own, almost like a sculpture in your bathroom.
2. Lulu Faucet from Dornbracht. Love the simplicity of this faucet!
3. Wading Pool Sink from Kohler. Love the gently curving lines of this sink, it contrasts nicely with the linear tile on the wall and floor.
4. Glace Wall Tile from Ann Sacks. I would take this wall tile up to about 3 feet and paint the lighter paint color above the tile.
5. Texere Floor Tile , also from Ann Sacks. Love this linen textured porcelain tile! It's a nice warm neutral with a touch of texture.
6. Wooden Cabinetry from Wilsonart in Columbian Walnut. Mix it up with a nice warm wood tone and you've got yourself a beautiful and serene bathroom.
7. Wall Color: Sherwin Williams SW7016 Mindful Gray and Darker Ceiling Color: Sherwin Williams SW7019 Gauntlet Gray. By choosing the darker neutral for the ceiling we've warmed up the space. Usually a gray bathroom would feel a little stark but with the right mix of texture and color we're able to really give it more of a warm feel.

Monday Redesign: Living Room
Happy Monday everyone! I'm here with orange on my mind still. I paired it up with grays & browns for this Monday's redesign. What do you think?
Here's a break down of the goodies:
- I started with Sofa from Room & Board. I really love this color paired with the orange. It's a perfect fall combination.
- I like this fabric from j caroline and think it would be perfect for accent pillows for the sofa.
- This simple orange chair from CB2 goes perfect with the color palette of the room.
- I wanted to add some white into the room {another one of my favorite colors lately} so I thought this bookshelf and these tables were a perfect addition. I paired 4 small tables together to make a large coffee table. It gives a little flexibility to the room too for entertaining.
- I love this rug from CB2 and think it provides a good foundation to the room.
- I would paint the walls with Benjamin Moore's OC-23 Classic Gray. It will help warm the room up against the strong grays and oranges.
So what do you think? Are you as orange crazy as I am lately?
