In more southern areas it's the perfect time to start your spring planting. This week I started some cilantro and basil because I use these a TON, especially in the summer. Though these two herbs look different I still like the look of garden markers. Here's a few I found that looked fun:
Simple White markers from JustWork.
Make your own with these instructions from Woo Jr.
Bamboo markers Oryx and Crake Design.

Oh my goodness, wouldn't this be the cutest way to welcome neighbors to your house? It's a cute peep hole cover in the shape of an owl, both functional AND stylish!
You can find this, and other cute stuff, from the French boutique Cocobohème.![]()

Happy Valentine's Day!

I wanted to wish you all a Happy Valentine's Day! Our weekend was filled with making valentines at the local letterpress shop and celebrating Caden's 3rd Birthday! {And eating Porter's cute baby cheeks}. Don't you just love that wooden teething ring Porter is holding? Check out Little Alouette for lots of baby goodies.

Modern Family Tree Roundup
I recently came across this great store My Tree and Me on Big Cartel and got to thinking, why couldn't I display a family tree. I've never been a fan of the traditional looking family tree, but these take it to a completely different level! Enjoy this roundup of different modern family trees today!
Proud as A Peacock Tree from My Tree and Me
or this one from CozyBlue.
This one from FancyKimmie
or this one from IShootNouns.
Wow, too many awesome options! This is going to be a hard choice!

Inspiration: Ninaivorm
I just have to share this awesome blog and Etsy store with you! My dear friend Fieke from The Netherlands ran across this site and emailed it to me last week. I seriously spent all weekend reading the site and looking at every picture I could get my eyes on! Nina is a Dutch designer whose first love is ceramics. But it doesn't stop there! She screenprints and loves interior design too! Ready for a visual feast?

Check out Nina's blog, Etsy store, and Flickr gallery for more eye candy!

Amy Butler Wallpaper
Back in May, we showed you a sneak peek of Amy Butler wallpaper and guess what? It's now available at Graham & Brown!

Lovely, don't you think? Check out all of Amy Butler's wallpapers over at Graham & Brown. And not only would this be great wallpaper, I'm thinking it would make some really excellent drawer liners, or accents for the back of cabinets.
