Happy Halloween!

This picture pretty much sums up our last week.... Bliss. Pure bliss.

Grandma Cindy {or Ma, as Caden calls her} came out for a visit last week and we had so much fun.

Caden carved his first pumpkin with Grandma's help. And got more attention than he's had in awhile.

All this while I caught up on sleep, dealt with feeding issues, and baby blues.

We are so thankful for Grandma Cindy and her taking time out of her busy schedule to come help us. We love you!!

Caden battled dressing up this year, but we finally dressed him as a Husker football player for the church Trunk or Treat on Saturday. Little did we know that we'd win Mizzou, and Helu (#10) would be the key player in the game. I think Caden received about twice as much candy from people because of his costume. And Porter was a cute little pumpkin. A nice and snugly one.

What's in a name?

Casey's mom just left and I miss her terribly. Seriously... I love my mother-in-law. She is so much fun to talk to and is so great about helping. (And I can't tell you how nice it was to be able to go to the bathroom when I wanted to.)

Of our many conversations while she was here, the one that I keep thinking about is what the grandkids should call her. She doesn't want to be called Grandma Averett because that's Casey's Grandma and she'd prefer to be called something different. These were the other options we came up with:

• Nana


• Granny C


• Just let the grandkids decide
