Before Redesign- Vanessa's Entertainment Center

Vanessa just moved into a new home recently.  Yay Vanessa and congratulations!  Moving into a new home is so exciting.  And so overwhelming at the same time... so many new spaces to decorate!  She submitted her built-in entertainment center for design advice.  It has REALLY deep shelves (30"!!!) and she wanted our help.  See the space below in her video and additional information on the space below.



What are your favorite design store/home décor stores?  They can be brick and mortar stores or online stores.

My favorite online design store is atwestend.com I like some of the potterybarn lines, most of them actually. I am into a modern almost beach house taste, in reds/stones/love unique pottery, plants.

What 3 words would you use to describe yourself and the feeling of the space you'd like?

Modern, Natural, Love for Family

What is the most important thing you’d like done with the space?

Don't want it to be cluttery, not into fake plants, want it to be simple but unique. Love huge things of pottery. Love big black and white photos of my family.

What are two of your favorite and least favorite colors?

My two favorite are red/rust and stone.  My two least favorite are purple and orange.

What are the overall dimensions, including ceiling height (if applicable) of your space?

They are all 30 inches deep and here are the other dimensions:

Is there anything else you’d like us to include or consider in designing your space?

I don't need any decor done in the huge middle space, a 40" plasma will go in there and have already purchased a tv unit from ikea.
