Flashback Wednesdays

I remember when I had a twin. We were born on the same day and in the same hospital. We thought that was so cool. Too bad we didn't have the same mother. We went to the same schools growing up and were practically attached at the hip... especially during our early years. My twin was so bright. She was always on the up and up and gave me so many tips.

One of the best tips she gave me was when we were playing 4-square. She told me that I could get a free Tootsie Pop if my wrapper had and Indian shooting a star. I ate Tootsie Pop after Tootsie Pop and rarely found an Indian or star. But you wanna know what happened to me last week? My coworker gave me a Tootsie Pop and wanna take a guess what was on the wrapper? Little did my twin know that her knowledge would serve me years later. Now if I can only find out where to send this to redeem my prize.

When I first started reading this I thought it was going to be a Deep Thoughts, by Jack Handy:)

I remember learning that about tootsie pops, too. Jake & I have an ongoing debate... do you pronounce the oo in tootsie like you would "toot" or "foot"?

PS I need your email to invite you to my blog!

Where do you come up with this. You are just too funny, no wonder you have the giggles all the time. I too spent much of my childhood looking for the indian and the star on all my wrappers.

I always heard you get a free sucker too! I think my life will now be forever changed with the new knowledge from Marcia Tarver that it isn't true! What fun it would be if it was!

I remember this too! However, I remember it going something like you had to have 5 wrappers to turn in for one free one...so silly!
