Something I'm sure you didn't know is that it's really cool to wake up at 6am these days. Atleast that's what Caden tells me. And something I'm pretty sure he knows is that he's cute and he can get away with it.
A lot of things are going on at the house, and I think we're all feeling it. A lot of excitement and a lot of nerves. Ever since Caden was born, I really wanted to be at home with him as much as possible. Deep down, I am a worker, and a business person so this is something that came as a surprise to me. I started projects on the side to try and make this more of a reality. And it's finally paying off.
I am quitting my full time job and starting a part time job with SCC in the next couple weeks. I can hardly believe it. Although my plate is still pretty full, I feel better knowing that I'm taking a step in the right direction. I have no idea where this next year will take me as I have been amazed at all that has happened recently.
I have to admit this is all a little nerve racking (leaving a secure full time job with benefits- yowzers!), I know this is what I'm supposed to be doing. Well, as long as Caden agrees to sleep until atleast 7:00 am anyways.
Live strong and carry on!
And a Happy Birthday to Casey- without him none of this would be possible!!! xoxoxo

Deb- I have been there and mostly done it. Didn't take on a part time job.. but have loved the extra time I get with the girls! You will too!! Have fun!
How exciting! Good luck...you will do great!
Congrats! What are you doing at SCC? Teaching "Awesome 101"? So excited for you! 6am isn't so bad if you get to stay in your jammies for a while and toss cheerios around.
Good for you! And truth be told, there is nothing like losing that sense of security to really push you to go after what you truly desire. If anyone can do it, you can!
Congrats Deb! I'm so excited for you; good luck w/ your new position and hope you enjoy being home more.
Congratulations! It will be an exciting new adventure. My boys wake up at 6:30 AM (or at least that is when they are allowed to leave their bedroom). I would much rather sleep until 7 every morning but they got Tristan's genes there.
Happy Birthday to Casey!
YAY!!!! About the 6am thing- go in hand Caden some books or a few toys and after a few days he'll figure it out. I don't get my kids out until 7am and it is great.
Let me know if you need anything, see you the 14th. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Casey!!!!!
I am SO HAPPY FOR YOU I'm CRYING!!!!!
And p.s. that new photo is seriously foxy, won't even deny it.
YAY YOU.
