Dressing Up Your Apartment

One of the most frustrating things about renting can be making the space your own.  Especially if your landlord doesn't allow you to paint, or have your way with things.  But never fear!  You can still make the space your own.

Use vinyl decals from Walls Need Love to dress up your walls.

Add a little color with pictures, rugs, and accents.  You can also use unique ways to divide your spaces, if necessary.

Is your apartment lacking space?  Make sure to use what you have an make the most of it.

Do you live in an apartment, or rental?  What do you do to liven up your space and make it home?

I live in an apartment and one of things I have done to make it mine is paint at least one pop color wall in two of the rooms. The other is a wall collage of photos above my sofa. They are photos of my travels and are all framed in differing styled black frames. It is a true conversation piece!

These ideas are great! Simple ways to dress up your home or apartment are always the way to go. Adding window treatments can alwasy embellish a room in the greatest way. I came across your post this afternoon while browsing interior design blogsl; it is true that you must dress your windows appropriately to bring out their true beauty.
