Being a Mother

{Caden,
nearly 14 months}

It's crazy to think that I have a little toddler. Everyday, motherhood is a little bit more fun, but also a little bit more challenging. There is no doubt that there is a reason why they come in small packages.

Have I changed since I've become a mother? Heck yeah. No doubt. But I do think that most of it is for the good. I am more decisive. I don't have time to really think about much these days. Do it is my motto. Don't think, just do.

I also don't eat like I used to. Long gone are the days when I would cook for fun. {And really, I wasn't very good at cooking anyways.} Being in the kitchen usually frustrates me. Except when I'm baking. I do love baking. {See my yummy apple cinnamon muffins here}. And I am more of a snacker these days. No time for meals. Graham crackers are my best friend lately.

I don't have a lot of time for myself these days and that's okay. Before Caden arrived, I was worried about whether Casey and I would still be the same and have a good time and I wondered whether I would still be able to have hobbies. Well we do and I do. It is a lot more work, but whenever you make something a priority it works.

I sure do love this little guy and just want to eat him up. Especially when he points at the moon and says, "bah" {ball}. It just melts my heart.

Vive le weekend!

I'm in awe that you got him to sit still long enough to get these cute pics of him!
