I am loving Bailey Doesn't Bark's new limited edition Flamingos and Trees collection of home wares for Spring/ Summer 2009.  The collection will features dinner plates, salad plates, soup bowls, cereal bowls, cup and saucer, salt and paper shakers and cups.

Designer Re Jin’s starts each piece with her drawings and then transfers them onto decals.  These are applied to the wares and left to dry overnight before fired in a kiln. After the cool down period, Re Jin hand paints the flamingos.  These are left to dry overnight and then finished with a last firing in a kiln.  This labor- intensive process truly makes each piece uniquely handmade and a work of art.  Good news, though, they are still dishwasher safe.

The Flamingos and Trees collection is available online at baileydoesntbark.com.
