I wanted Casey's 30th birthday bash to be something really special. He was out of town on his actual birthday so I thought I would get together a small group of his close friends and have a fun gathering. I am really happy with how it turned out. Here is a picture recap of the evening.
Here are a couple notes from my planning and the party-
- Wii Stations--We had two Wii stations going. One inside on the small t.v. and one outside against the side of the house using a projector. The outside projector was a huge hit! It was great having two so everyone could join in the fun. I also set out blankets on the lawn so people could hang out and chat. The weather was perfect!
- Cupcake toppers-- I made every cupcake topper a famous mii person. Famous mii's can be found here. I printed them out, used a round punch to cut them out and attached them to a toothpick with a blue circle background. They were a huge hit and a definite conversation starter.
- And no party is complete without Izze. Must have the Izze. I just love that stuff.
