Flashback Wednesdays

Reliving the "good" Michael Jackson days

No matter how crazy this guy is now, he had mad skills back in the day. I remember trying to figure out how to do the moon walk. I was never able to successfully do it, but I remember practicing day after day with my friends on the playground.

The first thing I ever won from a radio station was M.J.'s thriller cassette. I listened to that tape until it wore out. It was such a great song and an even better dance routine.

Listening to these songs just makes me want to listen to Michael all day long. Such good times, such good days. For now, though, I think I will just work on my Soulja Boy routine.

Thanks for that awesome flashback! I was in a jazz class when Thriller was so popular and we had to learn the routine. I still remember it to this day! I Just saw 13 going on 30 this past year and that is exactly how my friends and I were with the dance.

On to Michale, it's just a shame....a crying shame. He was so cute and SO talented, the dancing and singing! It's just too bad how things have turned out for him and what he has done to himself. I wonder if in 20 years we are all going to say the same about Britney Spears. Back in college my friends and I taught ourselves some of her dances. I know, I was never much into her music, but I LOVED dancing. She was really a good dancer.

Ok, I'm done. This was fun. Keep them coming.

I remember I was supposed to be in bed- one night when my mom had friends over. I remember sneaking into the kitchen and peering into the living room. They happened to be watching Thriller music video and I saw most of it. I had nightmares for weeks after that...and I never snuck out of bed again either.

Even to this day- I won't watch the video. Stupid I know- but I was impressionable kid! :)

Oh man, I was a huge MJ fan. I had the poster in my room of him in his yellow sweater. . I think I had that pin too! I remember going to dance class and my teacher had just bought the record (yes, record), so we danced to it for all of the class time.

I still would pay big bucks to see him in concert. . .

I got my Soulja boy dance down. . but what about that good old roger rabbit?
