Flashback Wednesday

Apple sure has come a long way in 20 years. I remember hanging out in computer class playing Oregon Trail on my Apple II. Insert floppy disc and hit a whole bunch of esc commands or something. I can't really remember how it all went. Pictured above is the first Mac that had a 9 inch monitor and 128 KB. It sold for $2,495. Crazy huh?

Macs have really been on my mind. The hubby and me would like to upgrade computers and purchase the iMac.

And how are we justifying it? Well, the baby, of course. It has a built-in webcam and iLife which can hold pictures and home movies. We'll see how far our justification gets us. Santa, I promise we've been good. And after seeing what the Apple II used to cost, $1199 seems like a steal!

If anyone has interest in purchasing this 15" iMac, let me know.

I am stunned at the price of the original Mac, crazy. I would love to purchase the 15 inch Mac, however, I think delivery might be tricky. Let me know your price and maybe we can figure something out. And I agree, spoil yourself, you'll need something to help balance life with a baby, the iMac would be perfect!
