Certified Honda... the only way

This Honda (knock on wood) has lasted forever. It's a 1993, and yes, I know it shows. But you can't judge a book by its cover. I bought this car 8 years ago for $6,700 and it has been through a lot. Many road trips to say the least (especially Utah & an everyday commute to Omaha). Besides basic servicing, we have only put about $1,000 into it! (We have only had our Nissan for over a year and have well exceeded that amount).

I don't know if we will ever buy any other type of car. As we all know, it is definitely time for a new car... this baby turned 200,000 miles this week. And you want to know what? It's still worth about $3,000. AMAZING!
Happy Birthday, Mr. Honda!

We love Hondas and Toyotas. They really are good cars. We have sworn off American cars. We have a Ford Windstar(1995) and it is a junker! I can't believe all that has gone wrong with it. We want to get a Honda Odyssey next, when Alan is done with school.

I love Hondas! We all had Hondas growing up and pretty much all of us were able to "run them into the ground". . .they just go and go forever! I think my sister Heidi's was well over 200,000 miles and over 15-16 years old! Our Nissan is a 1993 too and still goin', I'll have to check the mileage but I know that we've spent far more than 1,000. I would love to get a Honda the next go around, but for right now the mantra is
"keep going until the van is paid off. . .keep going. . .keep going."

We're believers. Carl was willing to "splurge" for his own car and he got a Honda Accord. We have had no problems with it AT ALL! Now...about my van...

I'm ready to shoe polish on the back window- RUSSWOOD CHRYSLER
BUYER BEWARE!

My 1989 honda went to 240,00 and I sold it after that for $500.00 before my mission. We called it the silver bullet. I miss that car. Sun roof, flippy lights.....it was the bomb!
