DIY Gift Idea: Hot Cocoa & Marshmallows

We've been drinking hot cocoa like it's going out of style.  I contribute over at Wantist and this week I shared our secret ingredients.  By the way, Wantist is an awesome site full of creative gift ideas.  Be sure to check them out for those hard-to-buy-for people (and for anyone else really)!

These make great gifts for coworkers and neighbors so you know what we'll be working on this weekend.  ;) The recipes are really easy and you can whip everything up in about 45 minutes.  And you'll never want store bought marshmallows ever again.  I also created some freebie printable labels so you can package up everything cute.  So what are you waiting for?  Hop on over and check it out!  Have fun and hope you have a great weekend! xo

Welcome Neighbor Printable

We had new neighbors move in across the street so I bundled up a fresh batch of cookies and designed a 'Welcome Neighbor' stick to adhere to the package.  It was a fun way to welcome them to the neighborhood and introduce ourselves.

I've included a download in this post if you'd like to do the same for your new neighbors.  There are a few variations so you can pick which one matches your style.  There's even a 'Hello Neighbor' tag if you're taking treats to a not-so-new neighbor.

Print out on 8.5 x 11 label paper (like these) and trim to your desire.  I simply used a pair of scissors, but if you want to get super crafty you can take out your x-acto knife.  Have fun and enjoy!
