The minute I spotted this, I fell in love. I love it when creativity is incorporated with decor that involves the entire family-- children's artwork, chalkboard walls, and even creative calendars.

We started a photo wall similar to Nie's earlier this year-it's easy to add pictures and the kids love it.
We had one of those annoying, useless alcove's in our house, so we covered it up with photos:
