Brilliant Tween Bedroom Decor

My gears immediately started turning when I saw this wall art over at Design Mom yesterday.  Brilliant and so, so fun.  She took what could have been a $500 printed piece of wall art and instead used a little Photoshop, projector and paint for a cost of only $20. Go on over to her blog for step by step instructions.

And if you ask me, this is a whole lot cooler than a printed piece of art.

Design doesn't have to be expensive to make an impact.  Don't let anybody ever tell you differently.  Also, don't let anybody ever tell you that you can't make a difference.  Cause that's just not true.

Do you have projects of your own that you've been able to save a little dough?  As always, I love hearing from you.

My friend did a photo/overhead projection of Edie Sedgewick in her vintage clothing shop. It was amazing--the focal point of the whole store. It was basically free.
