In case you are wondering, work went well yesterday. It was a fast paced day so that sure made being away from Caden a lot easier. That and the fact that I know he's in good hands with Audra.
The day couldn't have started off more perfectly...
Caden slept through the night. We actually had to wake him up to get going for the day. Jonzy was fine going into his kennel (he hasn't spent a lot of time in there lately and whenever he 's had to go to his kennel, he would fight it tooth and nail). It sure made my morning go a lot smoother.
Now only if the day could have ended a little better. I had to go run an errand for my boss before calling it a day and as I was pulling out of the parking lot, another car clipped me on the front of the car on the passenger side. My damage was minor and it was really that big of a deal, but it was just a little more than I wanted to deal with yesterday. As I was on the phone talking to Casey while the cops were doing paperwork, he says, "I just got hit, I gotta let you go." SERIOUSLY?? I thought he was kidding at first. Nope, he got rear-ended. Nothing major, but I just couldn't believe it. What are the odds of us getting in accidents about a half hour apart?

Man, that stinks! And very unlikely! I'm glad your first day back went well. I hope every morning goes that well for you. I can't imagine...I had a hard enough time getting us all ready to go to story time at 10:30 this morning. I can't imagine getting ready to go to work every day.
Whoa! That bites! I'm glad your day back went well. Hopefully every "end of day" is better from here on out.
