Turkey Time

This year was my very first year hosting Thanksgiving. And if that isn't nerve-racking enough.... try cooking for Casey's dad, an avid cook.

So needless to say, I was busy trying to make everything PERFECT and didn't even think about taking any pictures.

I did however, receive these cute notes (and it's even cuter that it was sitting next to a package of twizzlers on my pillow). They are from Casey's siblings... Kaitlyn- 16 years old and Christian- 8 years old.

Well, I must have seemed a little stressed because he sister thanked me for not having a nervous breakdown!!! :) And I love how she signs her name... I did the same thing... I was Debra B #22 (my bday is on the 22nd so I thought it was my lucky number).

And good old Christian... he thanked us for just about everything... even the vacancy... How cute. I think what he meant was Thanks for the vacation. And at the bottom, you see how he thanks us for the oranges? That's because he had at least 3 oranges a day! He told me he was on a fruit diet.

All in all, it was a great Thanksgiving. Great to have family surrounding us and the food wasn't that bad either. Jonzy loved hanging out with Christian... they were perfect for each other... same energy levels! :)
