Leaping into Fall

This week has been crazy! Casey called me yesterday and said "I'm on my death bed." All of the brothers-in-laws went to Colorado this weekend to go backpacking. All of us girls are having a good, fun weekend-- and I'll admit, occasionally worrying about our husbands being eaten by bears. But we are shopping, enjoying the break of demands and pushing ourselves to the limits! When Casey called and told me he was on his deathbed, I should have known this was another one of his tricks. But I knew where they were hiking, there was no cell service so why would he be calling? Apparently at 14,000 feet, Cingular still has bars.

Another one of my fun adventures has been my new business. I don't know if you have heard of Arbonne, but they have great health and beauty (more than just make-up and skin care... they have a baby line--that my sister loves- and an awesome anti-aging that I'm addicted to as well as weight loss programs, cellulite cream, and vitamins). It is such great stuff and I can't stop thinking about it. My business is going great and I should be on track to get my Mercedes by March 2007, cut back on the Real Estate and start having babies! I'm having so much fun with it and it has given me and my sister Julie a great time to bond.

This is the update on the home front. The boys should be back Monday... lets hope.

That reminds me of when one of Ryan's friends calls me and says," You need to come to the hospital, Ryan ripped three fingers off". I was like,” WHAT"!!!! So, I get to the hospital and it turned out that his did hurt his finger, but it was just the tip of him middle finger. It was still somewhat serious. I got to watch the surgeon re-attach it and drill a pin through it. IT wasn't three fingers tough. His friend later said that it would have been better for me to think it was more serious than it really was. Idiot!

That friend should have been punched. He totally deserved it! :)

Congrats on starting your own business! I think it is smart to have money that will come to you based on your own efforts and not what some Dept.head/manager/CEO decides you will get.

Amen to that!
