Family time

Last week we took a vacation out to Utah to see Casey's brother Christian be baptized. We drove out to Longmont, CO (near Boulder) on Thursday to pick up Casey's sister, Cami and her husband, Jon. We drove the rest of the way Friday morning. Jonzy came with us and was quite the trooper. It's a wonder that he still likes riding in the car.

Casey's family has a miniature Schnauzer, Rocky. At first he really liked Jonzy. They were friends.
Then Rocky suddenly realized that Jonzy was getting all of the attention, so he decided he didn't want to be friends anymore. Jonzy is the first grandchild in the family. While we were there, Jonzy got into a fight.....

.... with a balloon. It was about the cutest thing I've ever seen. We also went up into the mountains and cooked Dutch oven. It was yummy. Casey's brother, Christian caught a fish while we were up there too.
And we had some great girl time up there too. This is Casey's sister Kaitlyn & Cami & Casey's mom, Cindy.
We had a blast and only wish that we could have stayed longer. After driving back in one day (15 hours), we made it back to Lincoln. A long drive, but it was worth it.
